Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets forth the rules for collecting, processing, and using personal data obtained by the Administrator through the Website.

§ Definitions

  • Website – the website available at: www.verotech.pl;
  • User – a person visiting the Website;
  • Data Controller – ECI Trade Sp. z o.o., located at Szyszkowa 35/37, 02-285 Warsaw, Poland; VAT ID: 5211007361, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller.”

§ Data Collection

The Controller collects personal data directly from Users when:

  • they browse the Website;
  • they interact with the Controller through social media channels;
  • they contact the Controller via email, phone, the contact form on the Website, or other currently available communication channels.

§ Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed by the Controller for the following purposes:

  • providing Users with content available on the Website;
  • ensuring connection security and optimizing the performance of the Website.

§ Data Sharing

The Controller may disclose Users’ personal data to external entities if necessary for the Website’s operation, e.g., providers responsible for IT system and hardware maintenance or entities providing accounting services.

The Controller may disclose selected User information to appropriate authorities or third parties who request such information, based on a valid legal basis and in compliance with applicable laws (e.g., to the Police).

By default, User data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area or to international organizations. In cases of data transfer to recipients in third countries, the Controller will use the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which establish fundamental safeguards for User data.

§ Data Processing and Storage

The Controller processes personal data in compliance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR);
  • the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on Personal Data Protection (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000);
  • the Privacy Policy and internal data protection procedures of the Controller.

The Controller does not engage in automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning individuals.

The Controller will retain User data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

§ User Rights

Each User has several rights regarding their personal data:

  • the right to access their personal data, including obtaining a copy;
  • the right to request the rectification of their personal data;
  • the right to request the deletion of their data in legally specified cases;
  • the right to restrict the processing of their data or object to its use, in legally specified cases;
  • the right to data portability, within the scope of data transferability;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

§ Cookies

Cookies are IT data, particularly text files, stored on the User’s device. Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the device, and a unique number.

To ensure the Privacy Policy meets the current requirements of the law, the Controller reserves the right to amend it at any time. This also applies when the Privacy Policy needs to cover new or modified products or services on the Website. Matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy will be governed by the applicable legal provisions.
