The Verotech VS-1006SC strip-cut shredder is a well-conceived, budget-friendly solution designed for home users and those who need a device for the occasional destruction of basic documents.
This model shreds paper into 6 mm wide strips, meeting the DIN 66399 security standard at levels P-2 and T-2 (for magnetic media). In practical terms, this ensures quick and efficient disposal of correspondence with minimal effort. Its 180W cutting head can handle up to 6 sheets of paper (80 gsm) at a time, while the 220 mm wide feed slot easily accommodates standard A4-sized documents.
Operating the device is entirely intuitive. An automatic start/stop sensor activates the blades when a document is inserted, and a convenient reverse function allows for easy paper retrieval in the event of an accidental jam. Furthermore, a built-in thermal protection feature safeguards the motor against overheating. With its compact dimensions and a weight of just 1.3 kg, this shredder fits perfectly under any home desk, offering a tidy and hassle-free experience at an affordable price.
